Search function

Either I'm going mad, or the search function isn't working properly! I know for a fact that I created a thread called "China Tours" and I found it by looking for my previous posts, but if you just do a search for "china" then it's nowhere to be seen!! :mad:

I've had similar problems with the search function. I usually search through google with moneysavingexpert as a keyword.

Actually, if you do a search with just "China" (rather than "China Tours") it doesn't appear on the results. Strange

Are your searches returning a blank page (white screen) or simply no results, we have had a few comments about getting white pages and just trying to track this down.

I have also had similar problems.

To MSE Neil, I just get the 'no results' page when I know full well it's there and can be found by other more laborious methods.

Hi Neil,

Searching for just "China" returns a search with results but without the particular thread Rich was looking for.

I haven't experienced the blank page problem yet.

Phew I'm not going mad! Yeah it seems the search is coming up with some results but not all.

I've never had the blank page thing.

I must admit I also get a lot of "No Results" when I know there are.

seems a bit hit & miss to me.
