I havent got pandora beads, i have troll beads (apparently the original charm beads?!) and lots of them! lol! They NEVER reduce troll beads
but my only advice with any type of charm bead (unless you are intent on buying the cheap and cheerful but still very pretty beads!) is not to buy offline unless they are a well known, reputable company. Even if you buy from store it should be a registered pandora stockist! You should join a forum (there are deffo trollbeads ones, dunno about pandora!) or the official fb page. Theres always people to help!
mememe accessories are a registered seller x0 -
Thank you to all you
I have just checked the bracelets my kids got for christmas and they are fake. My sister bought them from a online shop. I'm not going to tell her as i haven't got the heart to do it as i know she will be heart broken. It was a lovely gift and the bracelets are beautiful anyway.
At least i can let the kids wear them now without so much fear of them losing them.0 -
Thank you OP! I've restrained myself from buying any more Pandora since I spent all my Christmas money on charms (I only got my bracelet at Christmas so it looked a bit bare and "needed" some beads deperately:D)
I have to say I'm most unimpressed at Pandora's recent price hike as the beads are pretty expensive for the size of them anyway so to get some at last year's prices is very nice. I bought the silver one with black mother of pearl hearts.I have the simplest tastes. I am always satisfied with the best.

I'm going to go against the grain here and probably get flamed......... I have a genuine Pandora bracelet and necklace, with a few of the Silver Charms (2 of the little boy ones that my sons bought for me and I treasure), but my glass ones are all....... shock, horror.......... fake. Well, I say fake, but they're just cheap ones from Ebay, only cost a couple of quid each. They're all really pretty, and I like them. They're a good few years old, and none of them have spontaneously combusted or anything lol
Putting on my flame-proof suit now........0 -
Welshchocolatelover how much did you pay for the glass beads on ebay? I've just had a quick look and they seem to be around the £10 mark.
Edit: Ok - I've just re-read your post with my eyes open and seen that you only paid a couple of quid for them.I have the simplest tastes. I am always satisfied with the best.

My daughter wants a Pandora for her birthday and typically the bracelet she wants is not available in her size so I'm going to have to pay full price

I just checked on Ebay - the beads are now £4.75 each, plus £1 postage, and the seller I've used is geejaycee (hope I'm allowed to say that). They are 925 Silver core, glass beads. Like I said, I'm happy with them and can get 5+ for the price of one genuine Pandora

Nothing wrong with that - as long as you know they're fake! It's people who sell them as Pandora (when they're not) who make me annoyed, and people who buy them genuinely believing they're Pandora that I feel sorry for.
But if you like them and they work for you, then that's fine! I would have no problem wearing a bracelet that's a Pandora copy, as long as I know it is! And anyone selling them on Ebay for £3.40 for a whole bracelet ain't selling a real one!
Having said that, I've seen some full bracelets today, pretending to be Pandora ones on Ebay, and people are bidding £50 or so for them. They must believe they're real to spend that much on fake jewellery, but who would believe that a bracelet with 15 charms could only be £50 if it's real?
The other thing that bugs me those who sell "Beautiful charm bracelet in Pandora box, £80". Very clever. Not actually a Pandora bracelet, but a copy, and in a Pandora box. Yet the buyers leave consistently good feedback.
Rant over.
KiKi' <-- See that? It's called an apostrophe. It does not mean "hey, look out, here comes an S".0 -
I was given a bracelet as a present- not real pandora- but they style of. It has various charms on, most of which I really like and I know a lot of thought went into it, but the bracelet itself is far too big for me- would I be able to put those charms on one of these pandora bracelets? Ultimately it would be nice to be able to "upgrade" some of the charms, but I don't want to fork out £48 on the bracelet and then lots more for charms. Obviously my other option is to get a cheapy one from argos or something, but the official Pandora charms wont fit on in future if and when I upgrade?
Advice appreciated please girls!0 -

I have a Pandora bracelet and just have cheap charms on it (cos DS liked the charms he saw) a majority of the cheaper charms fit on Pandora chains as far as i'm aware, which is how so many 'sellers' get away with fakes....
