PAYG Sim Card for iPhone 3G
I'm a very lucky girl that's just been bought an iphone for my birthday. It's the 3G kind.
While my current PAYG Sim works in it, it doesn't allow me to connect to the internet.
I'm completely new to smartphones - my phone before was rather old, so I'm feeling a little lost!
I assume I've got to look for a 3G SIM card?
Does anyone know the best deal at the moment for one? I'm hoping to keep a PAYG, but does mean I won't get any internet with it? Or just have to pay for the internet as I use it?
Is there a good monthly deal on at the moment? Can pay no more than £10 a month really, as at the moment I spend about £5 a month on credit - but it will increase with internet use!

Phone your service provider and get them to send you a replacement SIM that is 3G capable, that way you keep the calling plan you currently have.
Having said that, a non 3G compliant SIM will not stop you connecting to the internet because if 3G is not available then it will drop back to EDGE or GPRS by default.
First thing I'd check however is that the handset is configured correctly for MMS and internet access.Remember kids, it's the volts that jolt and the mills that kill.0 -
Thank you. How do they work in terms of network coverage? Do they use one of the bigger providers?"There is no medicine like hope, no incentive so great, and no tonic so powerful as expectation of something better tomorrow." - Orison Swett Marden0

I'm with Asda at the moment, and I couldn't see any 3G capable SIMs on there.
Oh right, I've no idea how to configure it!
I will have a play and see if I can work it out.

How do I connect when I'm not at home though please?"There is no medicine like hope, no incentive so great, and no tonic so powerful as expectation of something better tomorrow." - Orison Swett Marden0
