i came to mse 3 yrs ago for advice on a bank charge issue,at the time i got a bit of both help and abuse .have to say the bank admitted it was their error.
however i was glad that i found the site as we have now
moved house to a cheaper area,
cleared of 2 loans with the equity,
    reduced council tax
only have 1 loan and 3 cc
have learned what a snowball calculator is
joined the frugal living board and doing an up your income challenge
know what topcashback and quidco are emergency fund now £500 better for these
and finally have converted hubby to my MiSErly ways
Our debt occurred due to 1 not realising how expensive having kids are, stupidity as oh got very poorly thought he was going to die so let him buy stuff chichinging the cc turns out he is now better and fortunately for us in a better paid job and we are fixing it as a team and still having a life which after our scare we intend to live fully but frugally lol

ps if he had died he was well insured and i wouldnt have needed the mse website but like it so much i probably would have stayed and been a rich MiSEr
So finally debt free and it feels amazing however continuing here to stay debt free.Next declutter house and body and finally swim under that waterfall x
