The cow is sacred in India.

Hence its not part of Indian cooking, Indian curry houses serve chicken & lamb.

Nowhere near as common as lamb, but beef and even pork are eaten in some communities in India, it depends on the religion.

Watching this last night "Posh Nosh".

My mum used to do the stuffed marrow in the 70s, she did it a lot, it was her sig dish.

I doubt she put exotic things like garlic & pesto in it, but it was mince & onion based.

I didn't like it much, I've never been keen on marrow.

    I am a happy bunny!

They visited last year too and I got a signed copy of the first book, so now I have both of them. And apparently they were discussing my name with hubby (because it's a bit unusual).

Well, Angeltreats is a very unusual name. I've never known anyone else called that.

Edited to add: Sorry, didn't realise I was quoting an old post.
