Which Blackberry? (pearl/torch)

Does anyone have any experience of these phones and would you recommend one of them? The torch looks good, has a better camera, but an annoying qwerty keyboard (prefer the normal keys on a mobile), the pearl looks more compact, the camera isn't so good, 3.2mp vs 5mp on the torch.

Do you have one of these phones and do you like it?

I've had the original 8100 Pearl, then the 8900 Curve now the 9800 Torch (with the Storm 2 in between). At the end of the day it down to you and what you want from the phone. Having used a qwerty keyboard I have great difficulty using the normal phone one.

I prefer the Torch now. Bigger screen and you'll soon get used to the keyboard. It's just like using a PC.

This is the mad thing, I type for a living, but I can't see me getting used to a qwerty on a phone! How long did it take you to get used to it?

Not that long. I had a Nokia 6300 for a while as well as my Blackberry and it took me ages to send a text.

All I can suggest is to go into a phone shop and have a "play" with a phone that has a qwerty keyboard.

I've got a BB pearl but my OH wants the torch, I'm not sure if I will get on with the qwerty keyboard.
Best thing to do like posted above is go in a phone shop and have a go! this is what I did with the BB Pearl (as I won it!)
