It seems pretty obvious to me now that the original claim by Sky that the capping was done by BT was a blatant lie.
The explanation you have given about the way the total cap is applied will make Sky Connect virtually useless for many people as few would normally spread their downloads out evenly in the way the capping ensures.0 -
im on plus.net and im allways getting put on BTw dynamic line management. once i email plus.net they sort it for me.0

I'm on Demon. They cap at 40Gb/month, but they use no traffic shaping to throttle bandwidth. All they do is to reset the connection, so if your modem is set to keep the connection live, you have only to wait 30 seconds or so to get back on line again.Never Knowingly Understood.
