aww glad you got them all back safe and well. We got our kittens around he same time not sure if you remember. My two are due in in two weeks and I'm really nervous for them. Charlie is wild too sounds a bit like your Fiona so sure they will have fun with him!

I didn't thin about feeding the girl afterwards eek going to have to come up with some solutions if you find any let me know!

I had heard that if they don tolerate the collars then you can cut the toe end off a sock and used that as a bandage around the belly, not sure if this would aid healing though as air won't be able to get there.

    xx
  • Never stuck any of mine in the lampshade thingies. They healed fine.

But were any of them still stoned when you got them back? - that is funny as anything! (mind you, you did get one with the munchies going after mushrooms, I suppose :D)

One of mine actually became a nice cat after she was done. She was an antisocial ratbag beforehand.

The girls may need a bit of peace and quiet to get away from the menfolk for a couple of days, but they should all be fine.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

  • Adviceforall, good luck with your dog tomorrow, hope all goes well...[/QUOTE]

Thanks, he is at the vets now....just feel guilty as he was taken to the vets before we got him to be put down as the owners no longer wanted him and was re-homed about 6/7 times before we got him and he always panics if something different is going on....

Well, the girls have managed to take off the "lampshades" at night, not going to put those back on them, will see how they do without.

The boys were fine since last night, the firls looked a bit "spaced out" but ok today.

Zara over the moon to have HER babies back at home, so gentle around them as if she knows they are not well....

    So far so good.....

Adviceforall - let us know how your dog is when you pick him up?

I booked Zara for next Monday for a check up as do not like her back legs so Monday will be taking 2 girls in for a check up and Zara for MOT = that means my daughter will go in a cab with the cats and I will walk with Zara as no cab will take 40kg of a hairy GS...LOL

Fred is a greedy, greedy cat... he eats onions, cous cous, plain ric, beetroot soup - whatever as long as it is NOT dry cat food....

    Aren't onions poisonous to cats?

Yes they are, they destroy the red blood cells and cause anaemia.
