4 of my 5 at the vets

Just dropped all 4 cats at the vets for neutering/spaying and microchips.

They are more less 6 months old now and with 2 girls and 2 boys I could not take a risk and wait longer.

Of course worried about them now.. little fury things....

Zara was VERY unhapy with me putting HER babies in baskets and her not going - woke up the whole block of flats at 7:30 with her barking and protesting....

So hope all will be ok AND that their temperament will not change now...

Photo from yesterday.....

Don't worry, they will be the same beautiful cuddly sweet angelfaces after their operations, bless them. This is an expensive day for you, but you are putting your cats' long term welfare before your own, so well done on being such a responsible pet keeper!

Had a fight with the vets - called twice and was told someone wil get back to me, nobody did so called third time and had a go at them.

Turned out the girls were done about 3pm and the boys after them.

Pi...es me off as dropped them there at 08:20 and was told the operation will be done midday and I will be called around 3pm to collect them around 6pm.

Now - will be collecting them between 8 and 9 as do not want want to pick them up STRAIGHT after they wake up, do I?

Was told they are fine, Fiona (frey one) was resisiting the tube very much so had to be sedated first.. she jumped off the table and was trying to fight everyone - she is VERY wild that one.. my little girl...

Poor things have not eaten since 9pm last night, If I knew the op will be at 3-4 - what was the point dropping them off at 8:20am? They could have been at home till later. BUT I was told the op will be midday.....

It is quite a big vets though, it is a hospital so I can only assume they may have had some emergencies BUT still - should have kept me informed, they have 3-4 people at reception so it is not like a nurse or vet has to call...

    Grrrrr

Just waiting for my friend to take me to the vets to pick up the 4 furbabes.. girls are wearing those lampshade collars I was told - no way this is going to work.... not with 4 of them, not with Zara... Will have to separate them all for a week or so - that is going to be fun... hmmmmm
  • Hope you get them all home safely and well.....I have got my dog at the vets tomorrow for a op, to remove a lump on his foot and he might end up losing a toe..!!!

Good luck with the lampshades....not looking forward to that tomorrow with 3 dogs in the house

Fred is a greedy, greedy cat... he eats onions, cous cous, plain ric, beetroot soup - whatever as long as it is NOT dry cat food....
