Megadrop madness (litteraly) situp channels

Dear money saving experts, as many of you are aware situp channels run a promotion called megadrop madness

for years internet users have been allowed to buy megadrop items via there website using a valid way of bidding

however this is no longer the case and situp channels have taken the bad decision to close the website from buying items which go for £1 and they are now forcing you to buy such items via the phone only despite telling you to place pre bids on there days listings via the website

I feel cheated by this decision as I do not think web buyers should be allowed to buy nearly all other items via the website yet get blocked from buying products this way as and when it suits them

Surely web buyers have the same rights as phone customers to buy megadrop items?

Some disabled customers cannot use the phone to buy items yet are now being cut off from a way they have found invaluable of buying items via the situp channels websites due to the odd greedy user buying more than 1 of the same megadrop item using their found advantage

Surely they cannot allow 2 ways of buying items usually and then block 1 way of buying as and when it suits them, any item which is shown on air should be shown/allowed to buy via their websites



The situp company have made me very angry with their current decision having been with the company for many years and should be boycotted by their buyers due to such a silly decision

Surely web buyers have the same rights as phone customers to buy megadrop items?

Neither have a right its up to the vendor to decide how they sell and who they sell to .Also under what terms and conditions those sales are carried out .

but they cannot really say here you can buy every other product nearly via the web, and not megadrop items, that has to be unfair?

okay it is upto them who they sell to but if a disabled customer cannot use the phone it takes away there right to buy if there is generally 2 ways of buying products?

after all they actually tell there buyers to buy via the web! and them block them from doing so, something which is kind of false advertising

they also claim you can prebid on our days listings via the website, but the thing is you cannot they block you as and when they feel

if they block the web buying via the website, surely it just proves they are trying to make their money back by forcing customers to phone them

Life is unfair .
More so for the disabled but Tesco dont offer a bus service to pick those up who cannot walk .

All you can do is complain to the company .

please dont degrade my posts, thankyou, it is the power of internet forums which can change bad decisions

all they need to do is stop the web bidders pre bidding on megadrop items, and allow them to buy once the item is on air yet throw in the odd item with low quantity but sell that at full price and make the buyer pay for it at full price when it sells for that and web bidders will then stop buying on the chance that it maybe £1

they choose to lock the phone lines after all, they just need to make the web open to buy at the same time as the phone buyers

that i am confident will stop the problem

also the phone buyers complain too many web buyers get the items but at the same time web buyers complain they cannot buy the item

if they want to play the hard way then they need to block the phone and the web from buying then

What is annoying is that a privelage i ahve had for years has suddenly been revoked

if they forced those buyers that buy items at full price thinking they are going to be a megadrop to buy those items it should stop the current problem were they are punishing their entire web customers due to the odd 1 or 2 buyers who are being greedy and buying the same item more than once when it is £1 as that is the only time they buy an item
