Peak time bargains would be most interesting.

Flew to Dublin from East Midlands for total price of 2p return about 3 years ago.

Flown stacks of times to Reus/Girona for £10 return.
I did spot a £20 return to Malaga recently from Birmingham.
A couple of weeks ago someone posted £3 each way to Faro.

Of course to get these prices you need a prepaid Mastercard and hand luggage only.

The bargain fares can still be found but the 1p each way are gone forever.
  • Oct 2009 A group of 6 of us flew from Stansted to Girona on a Sat lunchtime and returned Mon afternoon. Vost in total £12 return for all of us. Even better bargain that we got apartments for £24 each( 2 apartments_) in centre of Lloret

Done at least 3 Dublin trips at 1p each way

Palma Mallorca for £6 each way in July 10

Oh and Faro in dec 09 for £3 each way

Ahhh the days of 1p flights!!

I remember 4'ish years ago flying me and my team of 8 for a return day out to valencia for 16p return for all of us

Rome in oct half term for 5 of us for 10p return

Berlin return for £1 per person

Off the top of my head mananged to do:

    Gothenburg
    Malmo
    Valencia
    Berlin (twice)
    Rome (twice)
    Valencia (twice)
    Dusseldorf
    Lubeck
    Bratislava
    Porto

In the last few years and never paid more than £10 return, oh and for the record never had a delayed departure or arrival.

Only time i've paid more than £10 is a recent team over nighter to Kaunas which was £40 odd each, and oddly the worse place we've been to.
Live each day like its your last because one day you'll be right

    I didn`t realise I had quoted you in post # 3
    it was accidentally.:o

But to answer that surely "peak time bargain" would be a contradiction in terms. :rotfl:

I flew from Manchester to Bremen in Germany for the princely sum of 2 pence return (including everything) about three years ago... We spent a few days in an extremely posh hotel there whilst exploring, before spending a few days in Hamburg too...

Although this one cost more, I think it was the better deal. Last June I flew from Liverpool to Krakow for £10 return, - my travelling partner and I also got a cracking deal on a posh hotel there, meaning we got 4 days away bed and breakfast in a great hotel for about £140 :)

In 2009 we (5 adults, 2 children) flew from Dublin to Brussels Charleroi for a day trip. We left in the morning, came back in the evening.

We hired a 7 seater car for the 10 hours we were there and, in that time, drove through Belgium, Holland and Germany, stopping for a bite to eat in each country, photo taking, shopping and more.

The flights came to 14 cents for all of us, all in. It was a great day out.
