I certainly agree with this - something along the lines of "Your subscription expires in a week and we will be renewing your membership on xx/xx/xx" allowing you to go into your account and preventing it from renewing.I agree auto renewal is not necessarily a bad thing. But match could do a few things to ensure that the customer doesn't feel he has been well and truly shafted by them. You look at the VISA guide for best practice for autorenewal and match.com don't follow it.
