This year, the Legion is offering you a different way to give to the Poppy Appeal! By texting the word POPPY to 85099, you can download one of three Poppy images to your mobile phone in return for a donation of £1.50

Just checked the Children In Need site and there is no mobile number to text donations too

well i sent 4 texts to the Poppy appeal last night so thought i had given £6.00. checked my easy online balance today to find the 4 texts had cost me a total of 40p

i couldnt download whatever it was they were trying to send me, but i had assumed they would get their money!!

any advice?

Strange..I checked my call history and also did not get charged £1.50. Maybe doesn't work from EM but I had other reverse charge texts on EM charged OK.
