Best People Carriers

Hi i am looking for a really good people carrier. I recently had one as a hire car while mine was being fixed and I loved it. So i am looking to buy one. Has anyone got any suggestions.

If you loved the one you had buy that model.

What will you be using it for?
How many seats do you want in it?
    What sort of fuel?
    Manual or automatic?
    New or second hand?

Do you have a make or a size in mind? Are you an enthusiastic driver for whom performance and handling are important? How important is reliability? Do you mainly drive in town or on the motorway? All make a difference to what is best for you.
  • Did you find it carried passengers better or was it the higher and roomier driving position that you enjoyed.

  • I fancy getting an old petrol Picasso as I like the higher up seating position while driving.

2000-2002 petrol models seem to be going cheap. I've noticed the tax is £200 a year on these compared to £125 for the diesel version.
