Cheapest new iPhone 3G/3GS/4 without a rip-off contract
I am trying to find a topic about this but no luck so far.
Could anyone recommend a cheapest way of bying a new iPhone 3G, 3GS or 4 without a rip-off contract? So it has to be pay as you go or with a decent-priced contract, e.g. overall price of iPhone contract minus overall price of similar sim-only contract plus iPhone-with-contract price should be less than price of pay-as-you-go iPhone.
Though it could be through cash-back, quidco and other sort of tricks.
Thanks.

one option might be to get a used and unjailbraked iphone from someone through ebay or somewhere else and then get sim only or basic contract with data. i bought my iphone as pay as you go 3 years ago and only get sim only deals with data every year....0 -

Used one from eBay is an option but there are thousands of fraudsters trying to sell their faulty or scratched phones for 'nearly new'.
yes but at the end of the day you either spend the money or take the risk. you will be protected if paying by paypal.
i am sure there are lots of good sellers there as well. you could arrange for a collection in person and only hand over cash after seeing handset.0 -
I would work out buying price sim free .
Work out what usage you require .
Find a contract for PAY monthly sim only that meets your needs .
Compare total price spend to one of the rip off contracts .
Buying an IPhone your are being ripped off or paying a premium for the phone anyway .
