I received an envelope this morning clearly showing a letter was in saying CONGRATULATIONS:j:jI thought brill, my velvet win has come. I opened it and saw the cheque for £5.32:eek::eek:Then when I looked more closely realised it was my plenty £5 win which was sent to the same address/company 2 weeks later:(I have rung velvet and have been told it is 28 WORKING days, even though their t&c clearly states 28 days.:mad::mad::mad::mad:So today is 20 working days and 28 working days will actually be a week on wed and will have been nearly 6 weeks if it appears then. They are looking into it, but don't expect much joy, seems like they are wanting to hold onto the money as long as possible to claim the interest.:mad::mad::mad::mad:Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

Sorry, unfortunately we have been unable to find your receipt details, so we cannot show you price check results for your shopping. Please try re-entering your receipt details and we will try again to find them.

No idea who this part of the article is talking about;)
'Ingenuity'
"A very small number of people have used Price Check just to seek out products which a competitor has on promotion and to make some money out of our guarantee.really, disgusting :rotfl::rotfl:
"We commend their ingenuity, thank youbut this isn't why we set up the guarantee."
The group said that fewer than one in 5,000 customers had claimed more than £20. does that mean I'm special then
A spokesperson for Asda told the BBC: "Customers aren't daft, thanks for recognising this so if you're going to make a big bold price claim, you'd better be able to back it up or they'll quickly find you out." yes, we sure did, very quickly
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)
