Looks like Mr T is not sending out DTD vouchers. Don't really blame him. Other threads on this site have people saying they have claimed outrageous figures. I can see why they may pull the offer. Some people's greed and everyone else loses out. Shame!

The stupid tree is working again, but it only gave me a squirrel! Have a top weekend all.

I think they will come out eventually, maybe over the weekend, but the rules will totally change, i.e. you can only claim for 1 of each products, like only 1 box of After Eights or something ridiculous like that. There is another thread on MSE where someone went and got x bottles of booze/whatever and got a DTD voucher for almost £xxx. I know Mr T has the offer on, but if people do that and then advertise openly, it's not doing anyone any favours.

to true, been reading those threads too.many have gone over the max.you would have thought tesco would have thought things through better or at least have something in place to stop people going over the max.
most i've got is 3 of an item .although was hoping for3 or 6 bottles of wine tomorrow but not so sure with things as they are.

oh well hopefully it will keep going

well id like to say that so far ive had 2 dtd vouchers since this started ..... and have kept within the rules, and the spirit of the promotion.and not exceeded my £100 limit i have not brought any wine or spirits at all ... but used the vouchers to treat my family to a few things we wouldnt really have on a week to week basis and to make everthing go that little bit further . why i wish everyone good luck with this i feel its a pity when some . and i mean some take the pee and go way over the top in getting as much as poss in as shorter time as poss .

I hope m4rtin and everyone else who is waiting for a voucher gets them soon. I doubt it will be running for long. Next we know it will be on the MSE WEEKLY NEWSLETTER before the dude who runs the website goes on GMTV and broadcasts it and then it will definitely get stopped. Same happened with the 1p FINDS. Lots of speculation on here about what Tesco's next move will be. It may all just be a technical glitch whilst they upgrade their price checker and all will be well over the course of the weekend. Or of course, what we fear could be true but this is just what happened with coupon usage in stores, abuse by the masses. Also more recently with the £5 currys/pc world vouchers at christmas. I don't think there is anything anyone could do to prevent people taking it to the edge as there are always those who can't abide by a rule if their lives depended upon it and have no conscience whatsoever. That sadly is life. As much as I like getting one over on Tesco (although not loyal, would feel the same if it were Asda, Sainsburys, Morrisons, Waitrose or Co-op) they are still bigger than me and will always have the final word.

If it all changes/stops Ive still got a £34 voucher to use and quite a few easter chicks!

Perhaps then I will resume my wombling role in my local Asda before someone pinches my job instead of obsessing over price checking every hour with only a headache to show for it today. its all been quite exhausting.

Tomorrow may hold the answers and even though it should hold an important lesson to the greedy it won't - they will just move on to the next big thing and stuff everyone else.

I think this dtd is way beyond most peeps, so can't see ML putting it in newsletter, too fraught with danger of ever changing prices!, my OH is an intelligent woman (But then I guess you all knew that cos she married me ) but she just doesn't get dtd, rolls her eyes and shakes her head when I try to explain and just says I'm becoming more obsessed! Obsessed, moi :rotfl:
