Was in bed when posted before, but using laptop now...just wanted to share something with you all....had a very late night phone call last night from my son. He's just won his 2nd BAFTA.After the film Baftas there is one for the Computer and Video Gaming Industry, it's just the same glossy occasion held in London, all black tie/red carpet etc...famous peeps presenting the Baftas, which are identical to the film ones...they weigh a ton, I know cos he let me have the last one for a while before taking it to his home as a doorstop in his downstairs cloakroom...well last night he got another, so I might get that for a little longer...great conversation piece when visitors ask...'is that a Bafta on your mantlepiece?'.....so very proud of him, he is at the top of the games industry ladder and quite famous really, has been on TV in America quite a lot, even in the Royal box with Prince Charles...hopefully a some of you might have some of his games in your collection...I've got a few framed Bafta nomination certificates hanging in the hall, he hides them at his home...I display them with pride...that's what mums do...hope you don't mind me posting, but I'm feeling very proud this morning...I am not a beige person:D0

I have just had a pm asking for a bit of advice on dtd and was going to reply via pm, but decided to give a bit of advice on here and tell you some of my buys/experience. I agree with m4rtin that PTS are very good on this and have been on the ball with it from the beginning and mse is only just getting into it.
The first thing I did was read thoroughly the PTS thread and tbh was a bit wary/scared in the beginning, so just read the thread and kept an eye on it for 3 days before finally doing my first free wine trip (now finished-tesco reduced price to match Asda). I have now done about 10 dtd shops and have only been caught out once, when I got the wrong chocolate:o Here are my do's and don'ts, followed by a list of things I buy, but it is only what I have learnt in the last 2 weeks.
I never use my clubcard and I open up a new email account each time I put in a dtd claim. This is because Tesco have a £100 a month limit, so don't want them to not pay out on any dtd. They do not ask for name and address when you put in your receipt like asda do. Some people have had vouchers for over £100, but I wouldn't advise this, try and keep it well under £100.
Try and keep an eye on the pts thread http://www.paidtoshop.co.uk/showthread.php?t=73715&page=60, they have the most recent shops/offers and if you can post any offers you find on there as that is how people are getting stuff.
Do a shopping list of dtd stuff you are going to buy before you go out, but when in the store always check the prices, don't rely on the shelf prices, worth checking either with the scanner or at tills on anything you are buying to expect a fair bit back as tesco are changing the prices hourly and sometimes don't have the time to change all the labels.
If you want other things then split your shopping and do not buy reduced items with your dtd as tesco compare them against the full asda price.
Check the Tesco price checker for prices http://www.tesco.com/whatsinstore/pricecheck/ and if it says n/f (not found) then do not buy as this means they won't compare. The price checker is usually a day behind though, but the major price changes in asda/tesco are midnight Tuesday.
Sometimes it pays to leave an item that is on bogof as you can get it for free if you do not get the 2nd one. This is the case with pringles.
Here's a few things off my shopping list, (Tesco price first, Asda 2nd) which is just stuff that I want atm, there is a long list of stuff on pts/mse that you can buy and get for free and you can obv try stuff yourself;)

Colgate Total Professional Toothbrush Med £2.86 £1.50
After eights, seriously strong cheese, lurpak and quavers are what I have been stocking up on as they are items that have been free/paid to take away for a while now.
I have tried to give a quick guide, feel free to ask questions, but please do not ask me to keep you up to date with all the prices or to send up to date lists as it is better if you check them all yourself as we all buy/want different things. I also don't really want to turn this thread into a dtd thread as there is one of them already, but initially don't mind the questions.
It is scary the first shop and check you do, but it's fun from then onwards:D I may have been lucky, but have not had a problem using any vouchers, even one for £93:eek:, they have all just been scanned and the price inputted.
I hope I've covered the important points.I am not a beige person:D0 -

strange how yesterdays haven't come back yet, glad i left mine until today although as it was a big shop so didn't set out to get dtd this time .£124 down to £53 with vouchers
two things i may go for are these
glenfiddich 12yr malt 70cl T- 27.97 A- £10 so £15.94 dtd cost then £12.03
plus was wondering if that £2 off voucher was still valid so even better then
also if i have this right this wine would be a good buy
La Gioiosa pinot gringio T- £6.49 buy 3(cost £19.47) A- £7.98 but on 3 for £10 making it £3.33 a bottle
on 3 bottles should get £18.96 dtd back so 3 bottles for 51pI have received all mine back by 11.30am, but it seems that nobody has received theirs back so far today from yesterdays shopping.:(In one way I am glad I didn't go shopping yesterday, but then I missed out on the Bailey's:(0 -
