just got my tesco shop from £101 down to £9.52 cash .. whoooooopppppppp whoooooppppppp
Haha, only £10 and 2 hours scanning in all the coupons :beer:Thought for the day: each generation of mankind tends to hug the illusion of having reached the culmination of human achievement. Yet, as we scoff at our groping ancestors, so our descendants will surely scoff at us.

a partially ordered set (or poset) formalizes the intuitive concept of an ordering, sequencing
Would that be the strict (as <) or non-strict (as - <), version of the definition of a partialy ordered set ?
Can't get my head around the Tesco DtD receipts. Is it just a case of buying the items people are kindly listing on here and then entering the receipt details on the site? It's just that when I tried the receipts from my normal shop a few days ago I got an email back saying
Hello,
Thank you for using Tesco Price Check.
Sorry, unfortunately we have been unable to find your receipt details, so we cannot show you price check results for your shopping.0 -
Hello, may I ask a question please, in Asda last weekend I wombled a receipt, it came up trumps for me, got a voucher for £7.50, used it T`s today but the SA did not sign it so would I be able to print another voucher and use it in Asda. Any comments would be greatful.:)
Also in T`s today they had Airwick Freshmatic Automatic spray Touch of Luxury, mulled wine and crackling fire for £3.06, so if you use the £1 coupon costs £2.06, great bargain as these are usually about £12. Not sure if this would be every store though.0 -

as too wine deal
just seen this posted in another thread and its cheaper to buy 6 bottles, something about extra 5% off but it not being taken into account on dtd
so spend £36.99 dtd £37.92 if my working below are correctmyrtleturtle wrote: »strange how yesterdays haven't come back yet, glad i left mine until today although as it was a big shop so didn't set out to get dtd this time .£124 down to £53 with vouchers
two things i may go for are these
glenfiddich 12yr malt 70cl T- 27.97 A- £10 so £15.94 dtd cost then £12.03
plus was wondering if that £2 off voucher was still valid so even better then
also if i have this right this wine would be a good buy
La Gioiosa pinot gringio T- £6.49 buy 3(cost £19.47) A- £7.98 but on 3 for £10 making it £3.33 a bottle
on 3 bottles should get £18.96 dtd back so 3 bottles for 51p0 -

Ah.. I feel I can truely join the gang now having had my first proper trouting, well, it was actually a much oilier fish.... Naturally the checkout person didnt know anything about taking the Asda coupons so called the checkout supervisor who didnt know but called the floor manager who didnt know so she called the store manager who said no. I suggested he checked, he refused. I pointed out that his colleagues had accepted these three days before. He said they were wrong. I suggested that I would be calling head office and asking why these had been refused, he said go ahead. So I think I will. At that point I walked out. In retrospect this might not have been the most mature action, but it made me feel good at the time. They did get to keep my 20p off Oxo coupon though...Wonder if they'll try to take the points back?
Has anyone got a link to the stated policy or its announcement?0 -
