Here's my reply from the Coop:

Thank you for your e-mail regarding a recent visit to your local store in XXXXXX and may I apologise for any inconvenience or upset that this caused.

Our policy was not to accept internet coupons until this year when it changed, I have now passed the details to the Operations Manager so that he can inform the staff at the store.

Thank you for taking the time to contact us about this matter and I can assure you that the Operations Manager will investigate and take appropriate action.

Once again please accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused to you and if I can be of any further assistance please do not hesitate to contact me on the freephone 0800 0686 727.

I telephoned a CS number given to me by the person who answered the number on the Co-op website the other day to ask why my local Co-op would not take internet mocs or indeed any mocs and was told it is Co-op company policy not to take them....she implied it was all Co-ops and not just my local one....will call again and get this sorted...thanks for posting this Byatt

Just called the number and they are contacting my local store and informing them that they should not be refusing mocs....and are sorting out duff info giving by their own CS staff

    Yayyyyy...:T:T

I was ready with my response if they had come back and said no, they didn't take MOC's, because really, they are losing out on customers buying from them. Especially where I am, there is a new Tesco's being built and Coop will need all the customers they can get!
