    Dear ****
Thank you for your further email.
As long as you’re buying the products listed on the vouchers and meeting any terms and conditions or conditional spends there shouldn’t be an issue with you paying under £1 for your shopping. However, I’m sure you’ll appreciate why I’m unable to comment further without knowing the circumstances.
If you have a particular example that you’d like me to investigate please let me know.
    Kind Regards

:D,after being told several times,"you cant put all those thru you'll be getting your shopping for almost nothing" that answer is good enough for me. hope its helpful to some of my friends on here.:)

    my reply to tesco,
once again thank you for your reply, I feel more confident now you have told me this as I have had problems with a particular store (whom I dont want to name yet) when my to pay bill has been £3+, I have felt very humiliated and belittled, hopefully now it will come to an end. thank you again.
just like the fllms this has become a farce only it isn't funny - it is all very well for HO to say all stores have the same policy and use the same criteria but in practice it is not at all true far from it- my T stopped taking Morrisons half way throough the week when they were in the Sun a while back and won't take Waitrose/Boots/Aldi/Coop and I felt that it was a waste of time to keep waiting around at CS (with OH getting more and more embarrassed by it all) while they had a discussion about it and decided 'No' but now I am so annoyed that they are not being trained in/ignoring policy that I am going to stand my ground next time or write to HO and not let them get away with the 'managers discretion' cop out
Sorry for what you have been through gill but thank you for letting us all know the outcome and good luck next time you go to that awful store:)

  • Just had an embarrassing moment in Asda! In my search of discarded receipts (I had already gathered about 7) and on my last "just once more round the car park" I spotted a nice fat receipt wedged about 4 trolleys down in a row. Of course, my stupid hand got stuck and I had to ask the trolley man (returning with another load of trolleys to shove up) for help. Whats worse is that not only did I have to leave that receipt behind but I saw another in his new lot of trolleys and had to let that one pass also. Sore hand and embarrassment! Will be back tomorrow though when Ive gotten over it :D
Love, through the trees, past the sky, beyond the northern lights; and I won't let go. May your soul and spirt fly sweetheart x

Just found this forum and been reading through it and can't make head nor tail of most of it - never heard of a Velvet comp, but why would you want old Asda till receipts? Ah, think I know - is it so that you can do the price guarantee thingy? Whenever I print off a coupon the stores usually won't take them so how does everyone manage to get them accepted? Will probably be asking loads more questions as I feel very uninformed.
    It's 5 o'clock somewhere!

my answer from tescos, do l name the store or do l not. :-(

Thank you for your further email. It’s that you've encountered further problems while attempting to redeem Asda Price Guarantee coupons in one of our stores.
As I’m sure you’ll understand, we need to ensure that these vouchers are only used once. For this reason, the appropriate receipt must be presented at the time of the transaction and will be signed by our staff. There's no need for us to photocopy this receipt and it’s unacceptable that staff made you wait while they did so.
To ensure our customers don’t continue to be inconvenienced in this way I would be grateful if you would tell me which store you visited. I will then be able to speak with our Store Manager who will make sure his staff are aware of the process they should be following.
Thank you for taking the time to let us know about this. I do hope that you will give us the opportunity to address this matter with our store.
    Kind Regards
