There were loads in our local Spar yesterday at £3.18 a pack, so dont see them selling out fast at that price so you could try there, or Co-op at £2.41.

  • Bit confused with the old Velvet comp.... just won a pound (loll) and although I'm not going to claim it (hoping for bigger prize!!) I clicked on the claim form...how do they know how much your prize is, if all the barcodes are the same? I'm probably missing something and being a bit daft haha.

I would imagine its to do with the details you enter beforehand ie email address etc - this then gives you a captcha code and if i've understood correctly it is this code that determines your win as when you click the claim button all you get is a blank form to fill out which is a standard template and has no reference to any win.

Thanks again for all the birthday wishes peeps:j:j.....sent off my claim for £100 just now, sent it Recorded Delivery...£1.15...she asked if I wanted Special Delivery at just over £5.....not sure if they refund all the postage , so sent it Recorded...she said it should be OK...I can track it until it is signed for, but it goes in ordinary mail....but I was thinking if it does go astray and they do not get it, I can claim again with another set packaging and receipt as long as I have the email address , date and time of my win....they have my win recorded on their system with my name and address, so if it went astray no-one else can claim it.....hope that's right !!!All my receipts that I have are before the win....not bought any more today although they have plenty of stock of promo packs in my local Co-op...I'd not got any mocs in my bag and didn't fancy paying £2.41 for it....the shelves in Tesco were bare of any Velvet 4 packs just now, plenty of 9 pack but none of it promo.....used 2 x £5 Co-op conditional spends no probs 2 x Crusts away , they do not stock the Innocent Carafes yet, but got another Ariel and used the £1 moc .....broke the habit of a lifetime as feeling very lucky and found £1 in Sainsburys the other day so bought a lottery ticket, first since the year it started and only bought a couple then.......bloke on the till just printed one out...I was amazed, thought you had to have a card and mark out numbers....it's just like a till spit....better not lose it, it might be a winner !!!:D:D:D
