Orange PAYG help
Hello,
I've just bought a new Orange PAYG phone from carphone warehouse and as part of the purchase I had to buy £10 call credit. Now the phone has arrived with a pre-activated sim card with a phone number already allocated. Since I've been on Orange for a while I would like to keep my current number, but also I would like to get hold of the £10 worth of credit that should be knocking about somewhere (probably on the new sim). Anyway, as is probably clear already I am hopeless with mobile phones and wonder if anyone could advise me as to the best way to retain my current orange phone number and get the £10 credit I have paid for? Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

There should be info with the new sim on how to register it. Do that and get a 4 digit code and a password.
Call CS (450) and ask them to move the £10 from the new sim to the old. You'll have to clear security on the new sim (hence why you have to do the step above). They'll then move the credit from your new one to your old one. Job done. Take the new sim and cut it in half and you're done. . .0 -
Cheers Jon - just the advice I was looking for.0
