    As it was all complete, Ford agreed to pay for the lot, no questions. Dread to think of the cost if I had scrimped on the servicing.

    It's these sort of examples that encourage me to keep up with "Dealer" servicing whilst the car is within warranty.

    The downside of course is the two edged sword that is 5-7 year warranties, servicing starts to become relativley expensive when the car starts to approach the end of its economic life.
