South African airline Kulula offer anyone who signs up to their loyalty program R50 bonus into their account - about £4.50. As their flights including taxes start at R200 one way that could be a 25% discount.

Just be careful when signing up not to choose the option for a Kulula credit card!
More info about the airline, they are owned by Comair, who also operate a British Airways franchise in southern Africa.
Hope this helps at least some people!

I travelled on them in November & they are fine. There is an included baggage allowance but they also have a system where you can buy quite reasonably-priced extra baggae allowance up to the day before departure, I think. After that and at the airport iit is more expensive. Even buying the extra, I iwas still a kilo over but the check-in agent let me away with it. (Unlike BA when i got back to the UK who sent me over to the re-pack area at Terminal 5 to take things out of my case and take them on as handbaggage. How daft is that? She just kept saying "You are allowed 2 pieces of handbaggage and you have to take some things out of the case and take them as handbaggage, otherwise you will have to pay an excess." Anotherr example of "The computer says NO!"0
