Mobile Insurance Claim Appeal - Deadline?
I had my mobile phone claim rejected mid January, it has been over a fortnight since I submitted by appeal and I have not heard anything from them, not even acknowledgement that they have received it (though I know they have due to receiving read receipt for the e-mail).
Do they have to stick to a time scale of some sort of response? I sent them an e-mail requesting an update a few days ago which again, has been read but not acknowledged.
I have to jump through time scale hoops in reporting the claim, do they have anything similar they have to stick to?

No and most insurance companies do not rush to give you money .
And especially not in such a short time scale .

They were certainly quick enough to reject my claim, responding via letter within a week.
I understand it'll take some time to investigate the appeal but I don't think a fortnight is too long to at least receive an acknowledgement e-mail or letter saying they'd received it and would contact me in due course!0
