Hi guys,
I have just moved and have got an old sky box. Where i have moved has a dish already installed but the wire has been cut from it.
I'm sure it is possible to get some form of freesat/freeview through the sky box and dish but i cant figure out what wires i need.
Can anyone help?

With a Sky box you can receive Freesat from Sky, not freeview which is terrestrial.
You need a cable from the LNB on the dish to the appropriate input on your box.
You can buy cable from somewhere like Wickes, and a couple of F connectors for each end.
Have a look at the Satcure website for more hints.
PS To view all the free channels you need to buy a !!!!!! card from Sky, costs around £20.That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -

I believe if you go via this page you can still get one for £20 (Click don't have a viewing card)Phantom_Flan_Flinger wrote: »Gone up to £25 now.

Up to a couple of weeks ago they had not updated the pricing on that link and people were still only being charged £200 -

You need a roll of CT100 (or equivalent) cable & a couple of 'F' connectors.

You will get some channels without a card including all the bbc and itv channels and channel4 etc you might not get your local bbc and itv channel. Channel 5 will not be on program guide but you can get it as an additional channel.0
