11 years ago I invested some money (about 5,000) in an internet fund call DIT Global strategies internet fund. The only information I have is the old bank statement which shows the transfer.
Obviously the internet crahed in 2001 so I am sure I lost a lot of my original stake but neverthless maybe there is a couple of hundred quid floating around.
I understand that DIT was taken over by Allianz global Investors in 2002 or 2003 and I am now having no joy with them answering any questions.
Any suggestions?

Money won't buy you happiness....but I have never been in a situation where more money made things worse!

That's a long time ago! You should have received some information from them at the time. It may have been merged with another fund. There are some offshore funds in Dublin and Luxembourg such as -Marine_life wrote: »11 years ago I invested some money (about 5,000) in an internet fund call DIT Global strategies internet fund.
Allianz Dresdner DIT Global Strategies US Equity
Allianz DIT Global Emerging Markets Equity

and
Allianz DIT Allianz Value Global

so persisting with the Allianz group may be your best bet. :undecided
Have you written to them? If not, you may get a better answer than by phoning.".....where it is corrupt, purge it....."0
