Hi,
I have just recently got myself back into work and want (need) to pay off £5000 on two credit cards, problem is I am paying £100 a month to each of the cards but I don't seem to be getting anywhere, can I ask them to freeze the interest whilst I get back on my feet? I dont know what else to do?? I have a poor credit history so I cant get anymore cards to do a balance transfer???? Please help!!

Hi there
Have you also tried posting on the debtfreewannabe thread where there are lots in the same position as yourself, and yes you can ask them to freeze interest etc.
If you post on the link as stated of the thread above, they will direct you to the correct template letters to send to the bank in regards of your hardship and to request to free the interest.
