Selling my broken iPhone 3gs 8gb on eBay at the moment, (my mum accidently put it in the washing machine!
Just had a msg saying My iPhone is a 3g not a 3gs, I have looked on my iPhone box and it clearly states 8gb 3gs, Also it registered with apple, iTunes etc.
I replied saying I had checked this out and they said yes your box is fake, Now change it OK!
I checked with Apple as started to worry, they confirmed everything was correct, I emailed seller. (-2 Feedback, selling iPhones) Saying that my listing is accurate, and thanks for their concern but concentrate on their own auction judging by their feedback, I got back..
Go shove it up your @rse? :rotfl:

I dropped an iphone in water. It wouldn't work at all, but someone told me to put it in the airing cupboard for a week, with the battery and sim next to it (not inside it). Blow me, it worked!0

I dropped my iphone in the snow and it was left for a good 3-4 hours, didnt pick up the first finger stroke but worked fine when it got a bit warmer. Amazing what they can take0

OP - Looks like you were lucky there, as he could have been a potential scammer.Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £16,087.170

That is what I was thinking, Their listings were truly awful, They were selling their iPhone's due to getting their pass code wrong, surely if this happened you ring your service provider and ask for the code etc? Their whole listing was unreal!
Damn Forgot to block! Off to do that now...
I tried the phone in rice, in a cupboard, in a bag of rice and then in the cupboard...Nothing.
-2 Feedback, I didn't think you could even carry on selling with feedback so low.
At least my listing wasn't "rong" as they so kindly stated.

Think it was a she, the name sounded male but listings used a female name? :think:0 -
