Just do not press too hard, you may scratch the skin. Gently with the Furminator, it gets all the hair out without the need to press really....0 -

Started combing th GS/ BC, Ben, first and quicky realised I would have to sweep the yard if I carried on, so stuck the Furminator in my pocket and headed out to the local dog walking field. Must have spent 15 miutes combing Ben untill he started to get fed up, he doesnt like being brushed aroud his tail. But it looked like Id shaved him the amount of fur on the ground. I tried Jester next, who did-not-like-it-at-all! So only gave him a couple of minutes Ill have to spend time getting him used to it.
Gave them their walk then decided to have another go at Ben, Jester took advantage of this to go and roll in some fox c**p! Absolutely covered in it. Luckily I had hold of Ben by the collar or he would have joined in.
Anyhow noticed big difference when I got home and showered them. They usually shed damp fluff everywhere.
So all in all very impressed. I can see it can become quite addictive.
I can also see why my vacuum cleaners have only been lasting 12 months at a time.:T
Got a bathroom to sanitise now before I can have a shower!0 -
LOL- sorry, should have mentioned.. only ever use it on Zara while outside as got 2 carrierbags worth of dead fur each time.
Only do it once per week, once per 2 weeks as do not want to leave her bald - but Furminator does what no other brush could....
Photos of "after" at least please

Oh, have one for cats too, the Furminator I mean - in case you have cats as well.. it is smaller but the same principle and cats love it

How do I add photos?0

you need to upload the photos to a website such as photobucket (free to set up an account). Then once you have done that, copy the IMG code for the picture (comes up when you select the 'share' option) and just paste it into here. then when you post it, it will show the picture instead of the link.
there is a how to guide for posting pics on the weddings board, will try and find it for you...
