I am thinking of starting to do surveys as a little boost to my income. I have just received an invite from DBS Research Solutions .
Has anyone else had any experience with this firm and if so what?
Many thanks in advance.

"Research opinion polls" - grrr!
I wanted to join some survey sites so signed up
for a few - just received an email from "Research Opinion Polls"
asking me to fill in a survey. No payment, except entry to a prize draw, but it said everyone would be "rewarded" with money off vouchers for high street stores just for doing the survey.
Be warned!!! It took ages and wasn't a real survey at all - it was based on getting as much info. on you as possible so you could be bombarded with sales material. I just answered "no" to every "would you be interested in ..." and refused to give my tel. no., date of birth etc. (to be fair, you could leave some answers blank).
Eventually I reached the end and the money-off vouchers were more or less useless - eg £10 off Sainsbury's online food dleivery of £70 or more BUT expiry date was 3 days from now; money off at Argos but ONLY if you are buying a washing machine or freezer - etc. There were about ten choices, all useless to me.
Anybody else had a bad experience with this "company"? :mad:0 -
There is a really quick and simple one called usertesting.com get $10 for about 15 mins work.0

I had joined them but my log in never worked oddly after about 5 months I had a random email off them a few weeks ago telling me my account should now work. That made me laugh .. slow customer services. I have not had any emails through from them or tried to log in since.:rotfl:0 -

They're run by the same people as Crowdology. I think they send out very few surveys. But I can't see a reason not to join them.0 -
misssarahleigh wrote: »Hopefully this list will be some help. The companies below are the survey sites that I use and trust with the information about payout levels, cashout methods and for some referral links and bonus.I have stated the payout method that I use for the site. But some sites offer a variety of options.** For the newbies :-) Survey companies pay for your opinions on products/survices or political views. They send out email invites (or some sites you can log on and see a list avaliable) and reward you for your time (be warned, some companies pay better than others.). There is no demand you complete them, you can choose to take part or ignore the invite. This won't make millions, but find it pays for my christmas spend. The more you do, the more you will be rewarded (like everything)**I have spent a lot of time putting this together as I see the questions asked so many times, should you need any further help jusr PM me and i shall tryAlso, I have all this information on a spreadsheet with a column for username and password to keep track as well as a sheet to reord when payouts are requested an paid (I forget who I ordered what from and if it arrived or not so list them all down now and mark them off). If anybody would like that just pm me :-)Consumer Intel

Zoon Panel*I’m not a member of the two invites only so cannot offer any information on them*Some sites you can receive cashback for registration through TopcashbackNew Vista Live – 70p -- Populus – 70p -- Global Test Market – 75p -- Ipsos - £1.37 -- My Survey - £1.41 -- Valued Opinions – 95pThe surveys in pink are the ones i prefer. There are some you will like and others you will not but it’s for you to see what your comfortable with and how much effort/time you are prepared to spend.Sometimes i am to busy to take the surveys, other times so quiet there isn’t enough. I use surveys for my Christmas spend and get roughly between £200-£350 a year. I could receive more if i put a little more effort in.If you have any questions or need any help feel free to PM me. Also, if you think i have missed a really good site off my list please let me know.I do have a “thank you” button if you could kindly press it.* (for those who have no experience, a cashback site offerd you money back from your shopping, or financial incentives for taking up offers/registration – See Martins guide:

Hi I was just sorting my survey sites into a spreadsheet been just plodding at them all and not even 100% sure what some pay out. I note your list says harris online pole is paypal but I only have Amazon option or some mags/charities. Does anyone know if they changed?

song people are pulling a real stunt atm by this contant login problem and then not ever having vouchers avaliable. Maybe they assume this will make people go away or forget. I would currently say to avoid them at all costs. Barely respond to e-mails only when they choose.0
