which surveys pay the most do you guys reckon ?

Thanks for the reply but I was looking more for a general idea on the better rewarding sites

If you read the first post the better sites are in Pink. These may not be the highest paying but they are the most reliable for the money they pay. e.g. 20p from crowdology for 2 minutes is better than the 50p mysurvey offer for 30 minutes.

You need to sign up and find what works best for you, as like previously mentioned it depend on your demographic, the time you have, your IT abilities to a degree and how much time your prepared to spend for the money a survey pays.

  • Hi
I've just joined three more survey sites I'm currently a member of valued opinions where I need to earn £1 more and I get paid this will be my first payment :) Hoping that all extra money I earn via surveys will go towards either shopping/presents or will go to paying extra off my debts :)

On 'Crowdology', is there a specific page you have to go to to see the available surveys ?.

For anyone who is interested, here's a roundup of my earnings from surveys during 2011, with comments:

Toluna: £165 (£15 in Amazon vouchers, £15 in PayPal via Brainjuicer surveys). This has thinned out throughout the year; at the start of the year I was getting on average a couple of £15 vouchers a month, now it's more like one every 1.5-2 months. There are more screenouts than there used to be, and I think the points/time spent ratio has reduced a fair bit.

Shopandscan: £110 (Amazon vouchers). This is a great one - they sent me a little device to scan the barcodes on my shopping, and once a week I upload that data, and scans of my receipts. I get enough points for a £10 voucher about every 6 weeks, with occasional extra studies for extra points.

Global Test Market: £99.86 (cheques). This is pretty good, it pays out when you get over $50-worth of points. They send you a cheque, converted into GBP - I've had three this year.

OnePoll: £40 (PayPal); I've given up on this one now. The surveys only pay 10-20p each, and over the year it took me to get £40, they've got significantly longer (they used to be very short), and a greater proportion of them only give prize draw entries. I only stuck with it at the end because I was getting close to the payout threshold.

Valued Opinions: £90.50 (£70.50 in Amazon vouchers, £20 in Tesco gift cards). Quite a lot of screenouts here, but it doesn't take too long to reach the £10 payout threshold. (Not sure how the odd 50p came about.)

MySurvey: £71 (£65 in Amazon vouchers, £6 in Paypal). You get slightly more £/points if you go for the vouchers. Harder to reach the threshold now as they no longer give 5 points for a screenout.

New Vista Live: £50 (cheque). Takes a long time to reach the £50 threshold, but their surveys pay well - £1 per 5 or 10 minutes, and fewer screenouts than most sites.

Future Thinkers: £50 (Amazon vouchers). Only joined this about a couple of months ago. The £50 is from a 4-week study I got invited to on solar energy - quite a lot of work involved, but their studies may be worth doing if you have the time. Their surveys and polls only give prize draw entries though.

YouGov: £50 (cheque). Takes a very long time to get there, as surveys are infrequent, but I don't think they've ever screened me out of one.

Ipsos: £60 (£50 Amazon vouchers, £10 John Lewis voucher). Their surveys often feel like a bit of a slog, though.

Survey Network: £48.61 (PayPal). Only been doing this a few months, so it seems like a good payout rate - lots of screenouts, though, and I've been stuck 72p away from my third payout for ages now.

Surveyhead: £47.54 (PayPal). Given up on this now as it took me forever to get my last payout, was getting screened out of pretty much everything.

Opinion Outpost: £40.65 (PayPal). Seemed to be getting a good payout rate after they updated their website, but it's slowed down a bit recently. Very low payout threshold (only £2.50).

Maximiles: £30 (Amazon voucher). Not worth doing for the surveys; takes far too long to get anywhere. I built up some points last year by doing their casino deals, got an iPod touch out of it, and almost had enough left over for the £30 voucher, so I stuck at it for a bit.

Panelbase: £30.25 (bank transfer). Surveys are infrequent but pay quite well - mostly they seem to give me a standard survey on radio ads. (I don't get screened out even though I say I don't listen to commercial radio.)

Sony Music Backstage: £30 (Amazon vouchers). This has been a steady £5/month, you get 5 points for contributing to a discussion topic and 50 points in a month gives you a voucher. Recently though they updated their website and there's been issues with points taking a long time to be added, so it remains to be seen if this one will still be workable.

Mindmover: £20 (PayPal). Just very infrequent surveys.

Opinion World: £10 (PayPal). Haven't done much here, as they mostly seemed to be offering me prize draw surveys. Have since learned that you get more paying surveys if you do more of the prize draw ones, so I'm going to up my participation rate here and see how I do.

Opinion Bar: £10.80 (bank transfer). Very infrequent surveys.

Just the Answer: £10 (Amazon vouchers). Hardly ever get any surveys from here.

Synovate (previously Global Opinion Panels, now Wonderbug): £5 (bank transfer). Very infrequent surveys, and they don't pay much. Not really worth doing, even with their 100 point (about 5p) screenout reward since the redesign.

Total: £1109.21 - £565.50 in Amazon vouchers, £513.71 in cash, £20 in Tesco gift cards and one £10 John Lewis voucher.

Hope this is of interest to someone.

Is anyone else a bit peeved that Opinion Outpost have been taken over the company behind Opinion World and Choozz? The earning per survey has really dropped off :-(
In better news, I'm liking the new branding of Global Opinion Panel into Wonderbug - the quite awful rate of pay of the former has been replaced by something a little better so I'm optomistic about that being a better earner in future...

    I didn't get those I'm afraid.
I can do some referrals for Mingle surveys, if anyone is interested.PM me your email address if you like to join.

any good, can you tell us a little more about them?

  • If the referrals mean that people inviting new users get some points, I wouldn't mind an invite to Onepoll and Panel base! You can PM me and I'll send you my email? Not too efficient but it will do!
Any other companies with a pay threshold of £15 or less and pay by backs would be welcome too.
