*Rubs hands together and cracks knuckles*

OK, here we go with catch-up-with-Fred time.:p

Jojo awww, bless, poor DD. It happens to us all, but it's not pleasant, specially the first time.

Hex with all due respect, you can have the ginger cats – I'm deffo a dog person. Working next door to the RSPCA centre is OK as long as you don't spend every lunch time drooling over the fence!:D

Mumof2 One of the dogs I sometimes see when I'm out with Canine guests is a particularly tiny Border Terrier called Tess; she's very friendly though, and wasn't the least bit fazed by Max the Greyhound – it was quite amusing to see them.:o

Greenbee sorry you're still feeling grotty; can you have a restful weekend when you just spend time pottering and generally being kind to yourself?

Nixie ooh, Beagles can be a touch of “the big I am”. I remember my friend's rescue Beagle, Patsy, was a horror for trying to dominate the whole house – 2 other dogs, approx a dozen cats, plus my friend and her husband! That Canix looks great fun. :o
*Goes into Leonardo Da Vinci mode, to try and design a harness for hitching up to a wheelchair*:D

    Natty Hoppy Birdday:D

Piggers I know you don't do hugs, but have a shed-load of posi-vibes. Obviously I can't relate directly to your situation, but I often wonder why the heck Mr LW wants me in his life; I guess a spot of insecurity hits us all at times. You do a fantastic job keeping your mega-household running, and don't you let anyone tell you otherwise. And to put in the time and effort that you do keeping us lot on track – hey, much respect to you!
*Scratches head thoughtfully* Re Tiddles' nightmares about mummies – is FW a video gamer? I just wondered if he'd been playing a 16+ or 18+ rated game with mummies in where Tiddles could see it. Only a thought.....

Toots (((HUGS))) if I find any spare spoons, I'll send them to you.:o I keep telling myself life will be more fun when the weather cheers up a bit; hopefully this won't be too long, and you'll feel better, too.:o

Triker (((HUGS))) sorry to hear work is being !!!!!!. In case I don't get online at the weekend, Happy Birthday to your DD2 for Saturday.

The list has been suitably attacked; I'll see about a spot of lunch, then continue. It's a relief to actually be able to move in the spare room now - as THE LAST DOOR HAD ITS KNOBS AND COAT HOOK ATTACHED AND WAS HUNG LAST NIGHT!!!!!!:T:T:T:T:T:T:T
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

LW.. I think they saw a mummy when they were at a museum but he is too busy watching strictly and doing his dance classes to play games.

  • Not too much flying done again today because it all appears to be done :D Quick s&s everywhere, but that is all. I'm going to spend some time today in the garage sorting through my books and generally tidying, may declutter some lunch first though.....!

    Well, in that last HHC I;

WM x 1, TD x 1, sorted linen/laundry room. Changed DS1s bed. Hoovered through the entire downstairs and tidied a few little odds and ends away and now I am ready to tackle the paid work again. Will put soup on to heat for lunch while I crack on.

Well done LW on cracking the last door!

    Afternoon all

I've done all the lists this week, but this morning I've made a sponge and some little fruit cakes. Then I vacuumed through downstairs. I've also been out in the back garden and moved my pots round, moved my benches and swept all the paths (and put the slate back on the border where it's supposed to be). The sun has just come out so I'm hoping it might dry things up a bit. Looks tidy for 2 minutes anyway.

Catching up now, hope everyone's OK - waves to hex, soappie. toots, lil-me and dusty if they're watching :)

Have cleaned the utility thoroughly and got the recycling together for monday.
Have put all the washing away from the utility, radiators and airing cupboard and hanging off the door frames.
Just eating a sandwich, then I want to phone DH to triple check i am ok to book our summer holiday this afternoon.
A lovely bouquet has just turned up from DH as it's our wedding anniversary tomorrow. He's a little love.
I'll be back for a HHC when I've finished munching and talking
    Yesterday is history

    Today is a gift
