Hi everyone, been lurking for a while, but I'm finally joining in. I'm not even thinking about listing all the jobs I need to do. So here goes for todays list:

Monday ~ Living room/family room or other reception room!
    Level One
Declutter and vacuum the floors! - DONE!
Wear something purple light a candle and remember Diva and other people we no longer have with us but carry forever in our hearts - will find something....
    Level Two
Vacuum under furniture you can safely move! - DONE!
Dust and deweb.. check those smoke alarms - DONE!
    Straighten a bookcase - haven't got any...
    Level Three
Polish glass, mirrors and pictures - DONE
Wipe and water the plants - DONE
Fill a binbag of clutter and fling it - thinking about it, I'm not very good at throwing out things...

    Extras
    15mins. filing
Wash any soft furnishings that are ickified - DONE
Clean out a cupboard.. any cupboard - Made a new cupboard, does that count :)
If you are able/weather permitting go do your necessary garden jobs. - Going to dig up carrots

Oh that feels better, I never feel like I get anywhere each day, but that's most of the list done. Now just going to have a cup of tea while the little one (11 month old) naps.
Taking one day at a time....I'll get there in the end

Hi JustD - welcome here! Have a :xmastree: so Toots can send you a welcome email.

OK, MUST get off this computer as wasted a lot of time today and now realise I told DH I'd have tea (chicken curry) ready for 5.15 when he gets in ....... yeah, right!
    Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting
  • OH is back from the hospital - thumb now has a smaller dressing on it.

He is moaning that he can't move it yet - well it took 6 months after he broke his wrist to get full movement back - this time we're at 12 days - so I've told him not to be so melodramatic!

He has to keep it clean and dry - I told him not to worry - the physio will recommend washing up - and by then I will be happy to comply!

    Afternoon everyone
Sorry but the thread has already become too long for me to catch up with today!! Will try to do better tomorrow but no guarantee;s

Has anyone heard from Soappie - she's missed

Ordered the Flowers today, went to Funeral Directors, been to Council re Rent and Council Tax with Mum, done a couple of jobs in the house

I have a major stupidly big hotspot in the Kitchen and as I'm not going to get todays list done in honour of Diva I will attempt to clear half of the hotspot mountain [can't remember it ever being this bad]

Spent the afternoon yesterday up at Dunstable Downs being blown all over the place by the wind, us and the dog had a very long walk which fair knocked the stuffing out of us as it was so windy but it was lovely and we had a great afternoon.

Going to do the hotspot at 5.15 if anyone wants to join

    Helen x

Hi Helen - seconded about Soappie, and glad to see you are finding a small amount of space for yourself at the moment.

I'll join you - I've a hotspot on the table threatening to take over the room...

    Moam
