Separated From Wife – What Help Can I Get.

are you planning to go through the CSA for maintanence? just a thought that if your wife has plenty left and you dont she might be willing to take less from you, so that you are not stuggling to keep a roof over you head and are able to rent somewhere suitable for the children to stay with you.

i would also get her to enquire as to when the rules change regarding IS for lone parents, just so she can plan ahead

When my parents split up my dad must have been in a similar situation, we never went on holiday or did we go out, the most important thing to us was that we were always able to get hold of him when we needed to and he always picked us up when he said he would, holidays dont matter its being together, there are thousands of things you can do for free and kids will eat lots of cheap things ( beans on toast)!!:rotfl:
just do your best and save what you can for car bills etc.
