You may want to call it something else, but semantics does not change the fact that sending an empty envelope is a scam, as you are not sure that the buyer has not received the item.0 -

You are assuming I have done it? Why, exactly? Like I said just because I know the cons of ebay does not make me gulity!
To be crystal clear here, I have never ever scammed anybody, I have never ever had any unhappy buyers, I have never ever had anybody claim non- receipt, and I have never sent anybody an empty envelope. I do however know it happens, and am clued up on the scams.
Now, please, stop accusing me of something I haven't done.terra_ferma wrote: »I don't expect you sell much on ebay then.
Correct, I don't sell much, only around 300 feedback in say 8 years. Just some personal stuff every now and again, and I tend to use Amazon / Play / Hotukdeals if I can.0 -

Back to answering your question, no, there isn't unfortunately. Paypal will side with the buyer, and Ebay won't want to listen. In the future be as diligent as you can with the users feedback, and sending recorded if possible - but ultimately though you can never protect youself 100% when selling on Ebay0
