Homebase Wooden Barrel Planter Glitch

I love homebase for there glitches haha

We bought 2 blackberry plants (i think not very good with gardens) was priced up at £9.99 each went through at 10p each! manager wasnt bothered either when the check out girl asked! Result haha

I was going to ask that. I went to buy two in the Exeter branch today but they still came up as £25 so I pretending I had left my debit card at home.

The label says 'Regency Hex Planter Black' (Hex being for hexagonal - Homebase don't know their hexagons from their barrels lol) and the item code is 703072, barcode is 5022437296059. Mine was labelled £4.99 and also 5.99euros. The two I have bought have this on a sticker, but some had the info on a swing ticket hanging off the handle.

I've just put this code into the search on the Homebase website - and up came a plastic black Hexagonal planter at £4.99!!!! So now I know that they had been mislabelled - but strange that they had been mislabelled with the same item name but with different prices.

The ones going through with the glitch in bishopbriggs have an orange label on them. Says:

Reduced was £19.99 now £9.99

Discontinued stock. Reason: 09

These are cedar barrels with rope handles, hope that helps

Thanks, was just about to post. Glad you managed to get them there too. The girl who served us didn't seem to care about the mistake, she just told us to go!! :rotfl:

The woman that served me wasn't at all happy lol, she was in the process of calling a manger to discuss it, but had taken my money so i said my goodbyes and left very quickly lol

All wooden barrel and trough planters reduced to 50p today at Inverurie homebase. Lots of ceramic pots at 50p too. I LOVE a bargain!!! Hurry hurry hurry!!!! Xxx
