Netbook with inbuilt 3G ?

Just one warning...
I'm away from home and using a 3G dongle on my netbook.
Plugged into the netbook (Samsung NC10, great machine) I only got GPRS while sat 3ft from the window, as close as I could get and still be comfortable.
Plugged into a USB hub with a long lead placed on the windowsill - 3G!
So be aware that a dongle (on a lead) can be more flexible and get better results.
This is the Achilles Heal of integral sims, and must be the reason manufacturers seem reluctant to include them. Maybe they should design them so that the signal could be boosted by simply plugging the extention cable into a designated USB port.0 -
