Debt-free and Proud!
I lost my handset but the computer @ Orange has decided I can only have a non - UMA handset as my Touch 3G is out of stock ( O Care doubtful about its return as end of life )....Orange computer is prioritising Windows Mobile over UMA as a alternative - a non UMA HTC to be exact, a older model than my Touch 3G so anyone any ideas how to get Orange to assist me to allow me to use UMA so I have a signal at home, parents & girlfriends ?

Shameful Orange aint set up thier computers to allow another UMA replacement handset.....
SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe ;)

Ask the operator to call or email "390" to ask for an "out of scope DMR", stating that you need a handset with UMA. That department should be able to override the computer and offer you a UMA handset (currently only a Blackberry).
I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂
