Barclaycard not transferring expired card balance

As stated, make up the expiry date. The expiry date might be "Required" by the new system but it isn't involved in them making the transfer of funds.
I been pulling my hair out over this also, was ready to cancel the card until i found this thread. I hope the above statement is true as i did the balance transfer today with a new date. It seem to go through on their system within mybarclaycard online but i was given a statement that it may take 8 days to clear if the transfer was successful.0
