Cheapest I am finding on Skyscanner is Aer Lingus for around £400. Although there are combinations like like Easyjet/BMI to Germany & then Air Berlin from Dusseldorf coming in at low £300s but it's too much faff with 2 plane changes and perhaps an overnight in Dusseldorf.
Anyone know of any other carriers - max 1 change of plane?

Best is to look at Kayak.co.uk where you can see all possible connections and airlines.Best wins ever:

Thomson fly direct from Manchester. Came up as £369 although it is £40 for a bag so its more like £410. Direct flight and a decent 33" seat pitch. You have to book it as a return though (departing 4th March returning 11th). Just don't use the return.0

Thanks, yes, I saw this one via charterflights.co.uk but didn't consider it as the Aer Lingus for the sme sort of price gives the more usual US luggage allowance of 2 pieces (I think). Also I think it's to Sanford rahter than MCO.Thomson fly direct from Manchester. Came up as £369 although it is £40 for a bag so its more like £410. Direct flight and a decent 33" seat pitch. Another advantage of flying Aer Lingus is that you can clear US Immigration and Customs at Dublin so you are treated as a domestic passenger on arrival.

Aer Lingus low fare is one bag now...many of the carriers to the US dropped to 1 bag last year and charge for 2nd (EI is £36 for 2nd bag)0 -
Unless you have the right to live in the US you can't use ESTA or the VWP with a one way ticket - you need proof that you are going to leave the US and that generally means an onward flight.
If you do book a one way ticket then you run a good chance of being refused boarding or refused entry to the US0 -
I shall have proof, thanks.alanrowell wrote: »Unless you have the right to live in the US you can't use ESTA or the VWP with a one way ticket - you need proof that you are going to leave the US and that generally means an onward flight.
