Urgent debt relief order help!

I too have been stung by Olive Branch UK over a debt relief order. I also applied in December and paid them £175 as they said they could process it faster than National Debtline. Paid the money, filled out the forms etc and sent postal order for £90 to them. However, after weeks of calling them (they never call you back) I too feel ill with worry as I am being hounded by creditors. Yesterday, I contacted National Debtline for advice as to how long DRO's take to go through. They said I should be showing on the insolvency register within 48 hours of them receiving my application - nothing showing! I contacted the lnsolvency Service who have told be that Olive Branch UK have gone into voluntary liquidation and where not qualified anyway to be processing debt relief orders - they are already looking into this company. Apparantly their MOJ CRM number was taken off on the 10th Jan 2011. I have since called Olive Branch today who told me they had sent all my papers to a second intermediary to deal with as they are not qualified! Wouldnt give me the name of the other intermediary. Short and long of it I have asked for a refund and they are returning all my papers and postal order and National Debtline with process my DRO providing my debts are under £14,000 which I now do not kow if I have gone over that amount with all the interest accrued - DO NOT GO NEAR OLIVE BRANCH UK THEY ARE FRAUDSTERS AND SHOULD NOT EVEN BE CHARGING PEOPLE!0

I also have been stung by Olive Branch UK. They are refunding my money (apparently) and I am going to National Debtline providing my debts are still under £14,000. OB UK gone into liquidation and had their MOJ CRM taken off them - never even qualified to process a debt relief order - big scam STAY AWAY!!0

Hi
I use to work for Olive Branch UK and they did process DRO's through an approved intermedary. The problem they have is their approved intermedary has a 10-12 week back log. The one thing they will do is refund you your money. I have spoken to an old colleague to see what is going, on and according to their system Gabriellej was fully refunded along with £25 compensation. I think fraudsters is a little harsh in this case, probably just bad management!0 -

They charged £175 + 90 for the DRO which an approved intermediary will process for just the £90.
In post #7 there is reference to their MoJ licence being cancelled - therefore this company cannot legally provide financial services.
I think you are being very polite calling it "bad management", I can think of more choice words.0 -
I'd love to get a DRO, because the IVA people I was with where no help what so ever (B n E) and ignore me and lose my letter i send and lose the wage slips I sent, there fore they closed my account and now the creditors are writing to me.... get a DRO and do NOT go near B n E I am going to make a formal complaint, and im getting as many people who have had problems with B n E to join in too... made my life a bloody mess did B n E !0

If you cannot physically get to CAB then NDL and CCCS can help you over the phone, and CCCS have an online system to get your advice. You'll then need to send paperwork to them, and they will then call you to confirm the details, and send you the forms to pay the fee and finalise details. They will help you for free, you'll onyl be required to pay £90 directly to the Insolvency Service0
