Has taking Statins increased your Travel Insurance Premium?

My sister has just taken out Travel Insurance and after having got a reasonable quote from Direct Line then read that they should be informed if there are pre-existing 'circulatory' conditions.
My sister has been taking Statins for 4 years now after having a Health check it showed that she had above average Cholesterol levels of 6.0 (recommended level <5). Taking the Statins has reduced her level within recommended limits and a Heart Scan showed below average 'furring' of the arteries.
She felt that her condition was normal by UK standards as millions take Statins like her as a preventative measure, but to be safe phoned Direct Line and they increased her quoted premium by 25% !
This seems an over reaction to a condition that is common place and millions are worse off healthwise but are undiagnosed, its just that my sister has taken the trouble to be health screened and taken appropriate action to lessen the perceived risk.
Have any others on here experienced similar increases in premiums just for taking Statins as a preventative measure ?
I'm not looking for a big debate about the pros and cons of taking Statins just about the effect on Travel Insurance Premiums.
