I already have this card from a few years ago with low limit and never used would i best cancel it before taking up the new offer.
As stated earlier in the thread, they ask you not to apply if you already have a C1 card.

If your egg card has a zero balance, and you do a BT from cap1, you put your egg card into credit. You can then do a SBT from egg to your current acc.

I have had my egg card for years, and am just coming to the end of my anniversary offer. So once that has been paid back and my balance is zero, I can then put the card into credit to do a no-fee SBT. The only fee you would pay is the Cap1 one.

I have never known egg to charge for BT/SBTs.
Thanks. I wonder if C1 would check whether you owed egg?

If you had, say, £5k owed to egg, presumably you could do a BT from C1 of £24900 (assuming you get the max limit), giving you a £19,900 credit balance on egg. Then SBT £24,900 to your current account.

I would ideally like this card to take over from a stooze in September. I see this offer expires 1 August though.

However, just wondering if it's feasible to get the card, but not to effect a BT until September?

Does the 18 months kick in from the date of the BT or from the date you get the card?

    Anyone know??

Had found a 15 month C1 form in Sundays Daily Mail (Ilford, Essex) ...Was gonna put it here when i discovered from other posts that it is valid until 1st August.
But thanks to other posts I went to WHSmith and picked 3 more 18 month forms.
So now I have 1-15 month and 2-18 month forms to give away.

PM me the first three will get it.

Can someone let me know... I had a C1 card which I cancelled after promo period on 18th December. Would I be eligible to apply after 18th July? it would be more than 7 months then.....

    ............
Sorry but I have run out of 18 month forms...anyone want a 15 month form let me know still got that one...

From the date you get the card. (Actually, it is any statement period beginning within the first 18 months, so depending on your statement date, you might get nearly 19 months.)

Why do companies offer you "free gifts?"
Since when has a gift NOT been free?
  • Re the previous post, mine has now gone.

It has taken about 4,500,000,000 (4.5 billion) years for the Earth to form as it is now .........
and it'll only take about another 100 years for mankind to really **** it up!!!!
