Repeated unauthorised entry by landlord

  • It is creepy. Extremely so. Intruders, snoopers and interferers rarely curtail their activities and often step them up. This loony needs to be stopped and in the most forceful way possible.

Change the barrels, get documentary evidence and make urgent plans to move out
  • Check all cupboards etc or holes in roof just in case the stalker/per^ hasnt strategically hidden any cameras, sorry freaky but does happen, no reason for him to be constantly checking on your property as others have stated he shouldnt be doing this, add another lock to door also place eggs behind front door before leaving and other such b&&by traps catch the freak at it, oh and if you prove allowing himself access inform police, fair enough he owns property but you signed a contract he handed you keys he SHOULD NOT be entering your premises without your say so!!!

I am reminded of the trick of filling your bathroom cabinet with marbles.
*You do it with a piece of card in place that you can pull out when the door is shut.

I like it, but what do you do when you come home, no one has triggered your booby trap, and you want the shower gel out of the cabinet yourself..........? !!

Well the shower gel wouldn't be in the bathroom cabinet anyway, as it would be full of marbles :rotfl:

Could he not be using this house as his home for any reason i.e. going regularly to get post - not sure if there would be tax avoidance or anything going on - just a thought (may be wrong!)
  • Ultimately, there's not much you can do other than move out. Pursuing action against the landlord or changing the locks will likely result in a retaliatory eviction anyway.
Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam
  • I expect that a retaliatory eviction would come as a blessed relief: the OP only took started this tenancy in December

He could.... except quite unusual to feel the need to go into the shed and move bedside lights to do this

I think we can safely say this is very abnormal /stalking behaviour and needs putting a stop to now for OPs peace of mind if nothing else
