    watching Oliver has reminded me of a phrase which is often misquoted....in 'who will buy' they sing 'cheap at half the price' when it is supposed to be cheap at twice the price......in other words if it cost double it would still be a bargain.


    anyone else have any misquoted phrases that annoy them??

    I can't say I do, as I'm the worlds worst at singing the wrong words to songs :o

    My Mum always says 'Global warning' instead of Global warming.....which I always think sounds better :grin

    am taking kids to the £1 cinema in the morning, will buy sweeties at the corner shop!

    i really feel for you, next month we have to wait 5 weeks before we are paid cos we are paid the last friday of the month

    but to make it worse we are paid the number of days we work but feb is a short month so :eek::eek::eek:

    meaning this month I have to buy extra gas and electric and pray its ok

    and dont even get started on the price of petrol, I'm disabled and can't even get to the local shop without my car, and due to the price going up and up im almost now house bound i can't afford to go anywhere other than work
