phew..just been and done a good samaritan bit...

could hear someone screaming for help, whilst I was sat at compy...thought it was S&H and telly.....but it didn't fit...rushed outside[clutching trousers, belt had broken]...2 doors down, in church car park, elderly lady had a brown bin full of soil tipple onto her leg in the dark....trapped her ankle....managed to just lift the bin enough so she could drag herself clear, but struggled to hold bin up....eventually got it shifted to one side, far enough...[10 years ago I'd have picked the bin up no bother...even full of soil as it was]...then went for help in the church....

ambulance arrived....eventually...after two gee-ing up calls [she kept slipping in & out of consciousness.....deep shock too]....looks like a broken ankle...she's off the hospital now, drugged up to eyeballs...vicar's taking care of admin....

now I'm back at compy [S&H didn't have a clue what had happened]...with a cuppa tea....and you lot!
