lol, you lot dont know the half of what goes on, find yourself either a friendly or disgruntled finance director who has worked in the city's square mile and have a conversation with him, if you think the big companies pay tax bills you're very much mistaken, WE pay tax, big institutions and companies refuse to cough up to the inland revenue, my friends large banking organisation used to tell the tax office to go fudge themselves annualy for the tax bill or they would threaten to relocate to another country (he was a company director for 10 years), they NEVER paid a tax bill(we are talking about billions) and neither did any of the other companies in the "square mile" (including barclays, lloyds, santander etc.etc.) , its so sad but oh so true, london is a tax haven, the square mile even has its own police force !
  • Ah yes I forgot about magical corrections and 'somehow's... if only someone had pointed that out to the world of mathematics and science before!

Don't sweat the small stuff. Capitalism self-corrects and, besides, I disagree with the central premise that 'we need to grow continuously for our monetary system to work.'

There are some sustainability issues, for sure, but people have been talking about the death of some natural resources for the last hundred years. And, yet, somehow, technology changes, food supplies remain steady etc etc. Energy and food is cheaper and more accessible today in real terms than at any point in our history.

It aint a bad world you know. Don't sweat it.

    And don't breed.

You are 100% correct. People really do have no idea and probably wont have until things get a hell of a lot worse. Such a shame because it's a lovely planet with some lovely people on it all being held back by these weird notions of money and stock exchanges.

On the 12 & 13th March the Movement had Z Day where various chapters round the world went out on the street to promote the RBE and Venus Project. London saw the gathering of many members of the Movement and Peter Joseph was one of the main speakers there this year. Jacques Fresco at 94 years old is travelling the world and there are many youtube videos covering this. Don't be thinking that we are sitting at the pc dreaming, do nothing and nothing will happen, do something no matter what it is and something will happen.

Look at the Middle east right now, civil unrest at epic proportion, its only a matter of time before the "civil" countries will wake up and the question is how bloody do you want it to be? We can make a transition, we know its not going to be easy but we owe it to future generations to start NOW.
