I been using them for 9 months now and have no complaints granted a measure of a company is how they deal with a complaint but as I get billed correctly and no down time I am having no cause for complaint unlike my time with BT and talk talk although in truth I was with both much longer0

The OP asked if Primus was a Trustworthy company, several posters then posted complaints about Primus So in intrests of balance, if you are going to use internet forum complaints as a bellweather.
Then as Heinz posted nearly every company has its critics! not just Primus.
And in my opinion its only fair to mention this.Child of a Fighting Race.0

I agree that their customer service is very poor.
On the occasions ive had to contact them you either get no reply or a poor response.
Having said that they are cheap - so you take your chances!!!0

            Hi
I have line rental with BT but, despite numerous calls to their customer options team, cannot seem to get a good deal on both line rental and calls, just one or the other!
I understand that Primus line rental at £7.99pm includes evening and weekend calls.
However, for daytime calls would I be able to use 18185, or even BT?
 Many thanks.

If you hand your line rental over to Primus (or any other company), you cease to be a BT customer and so will not be able to make calls via BT.I have line rental with BT but, despite numerous calls to their customer options team, cannot seem to get a good deal on both line rental and calls, just one or the other!

Primus have given Martin a written undertaking that they will allow the use of indirect access prefixes at least until the end of the year. Who knows after that though?Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0
